Instructions

  • Cook the Pasta: Boil the bowtie pasta according to package directions. Drain, reserving ½ cup of pasta water, and set aside.
  • Brown the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Prepare the Garlic Butter Sauce: Add butter and minced garlic to the skillet with the beef. Cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Make the Creamy Sauce: Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Season with salt, black pepper, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  • Melt the Cheese: Gradually mix in the shredded cheddar and Parmesan cheese, stirring until fully melted and smooth.
  • Combine with Pasta: Toss in the cooked pasta, stirring to coat. Add reserved pasta water as needed to reach the desired consistency.
  • Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
